VIVTECH follows the academic standards as per the AICTE norms. Admission process is held up through common entrance test followed by counseling session. We strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) for the admission process. Students are admitted on the basis of their ranks in O-JEE and AIEEE tests. Besides this, there is also a provision of admission through Management quota..

Eligibility |

The candidates should have successfully completed 12 years of schooling, equivalent to the Intermediate School Certificate of India (10+2 for vernacular medium schools of Indian states) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in 10+2.
Students those who have cleared diploma with minimum 60% mark in the corresponding subject are eligible for admission under lateral entry scheme. Under lateral entry, students are enrolled directly into the 3rd semester engineering courses.
It might be noted here that to get a seat either through counseling or management quota, it is mandatory for all candidates to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Biju Patnaik University Technology, Rourkela or All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi or Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Orissa Private Engineering College Association (OPECA).
