Vivekananda Institute of technology (VIVTECH) is spread across a sprawling 40 acres of land. The campus is set amid lush green and serenading natural landscaping so as to give students a truly fulfilling learning experience in a quiet ambiance.
Going by its ideology of being the first 'GREEN' college of our country, every attempt has been made to cause minimal damage to Mother Nature. The campus building is segregated into modular blocks with special emphasis on natural light and ventilation in the classrooms. Passive solar cooling method has been adopted for warm-humid climate.
The lush green lawns and other plantation surrounding the campus are maintained by rain water conservation. To reduce the air pollution, the central area of the campus has been made as vehicle free. Various departments of the institutes are connected through skywalk.
The proposed plan of a picturesque landscaping comprising of water body, garden, and lawn, sit out, play grounds, pathways, etc. are now underway. Once it's completed, VIVTECH campus will be at par with the elite institutes of our country in terms of infrastructure.
VIVTECH doesn't follow the mundane teaching methods. Here there is no common staff rooms, rather personalized wings have been built for every department so that students can directly come and clear their queries with the faculties.
We have specialized communication labs equipped with all the latest audio and video equipments to hone the communication skill of our students. A special communication faculty having many years of industrial experience in various corporate sectors has been appointed to improvise the communication skills of our students.
