VIVTECH provides a strong foundation for the all round development of our students.To make our students corporate ready, the first year curriculum focuses on laying a foundation on the English Language Skills. During the Second and third year the training focuses on Self Management and People Skills which include programs on Personality Development, Presentation Skills, Goal Setting, Confidence Building, Conflict Management, Interpersonal Skills, Negotiation Skills, Team Building and Decision making. A finishing school programme in the final year focuses on Interview Skills, Group Discussions, Business Etiquettes and Work Ethics Some of the best companies of the region are invited for the enhancement of communication and aptitude skills. Organisations like Prolific, Idyllic, Confidence Factory, Arifin and Gradient have been hired to help in Pre-Placement training through soft skill training techniques for facing interviews, building confidence for Group Discussions,aptitude testing and so on.

Industrial Training

In today’s world, one has to continue learning in order to grow personally, professionally,economically and to keep pace with advancement in one’s chosen area of expertise. Economies are changing, therefore, skills required to meet the needs of fast moving economies are also changing with an amazing speed. As companies reorganize and re-engineer, they require employees to be industry ready. This hectic pace of knowledge advancement requires that people be lifelong learners. People seek skill enhancement techniques and competency to meet employers’ varied expectations. To accomplish this need of the industry, VIVTECH has developed a holistic approach to train its students. Every student on completion of each semester needs to choose from various companies and after selection, have to spend a month’s time getting trained in various aspects of the industry they choose. Hence each student of VIVTECH gets around 5-6 months of industrial exposure, taking them a step ahead of other engineering college students.
